Windows 10 Hello
Windows Hello is a more personal and safe way to quickly access fingerprint or facially recognized Windows 10 devices or protected PIN. Manage how you log in, pick an item for adding, modifying, or removing a Windows Hello product. Windows Hello for Windows 10 replaces passwords on PCs and mobile devices with solid two-factor authentication. This authentication requires a new form of user ID, which is connected to a device using a biometric or PIN. Windows Hello reduces the surface area from which IDs have been stolen by Windows 10, by removing the need for passwords and other methods. "Windows Hello lets a user authenticate a Microsoft account or a non-Microsoft-based service supporting Quick Identity Online (FIDO) by setting a gesture," says Anoosh Saboori, senior program manager for Microsoft, which includes facial scans, iris scans and fingerprints. Windows Hello is built for companies and customers alike and is gaining momentum in both regions.
