Secret Start Menu

If you are a fan of the old school Start menu, good news! You will get it with Windows 10. Right-click the icon in the lower left corner of your windows to prompt a text jump menu for a few familiar applications and functions including search and execute. All these options can be accessed more easily via the usual menu interface. You can do much with the Windows 10 taskbar as well, right-click the task bar of the convenient menu for quick access to various toolbar, cortana, and window scheme presets. To customize the Start Menu Tiles, right-click them to prompt a pop-up menu. Indeed, this Windows 10 menu provides you with a variety of choices, such as unpinning from the Start menu, resizing the windows or turning the live tile off.

Rotate Your Screen

This feature enables you to orient a specific monitor to fit your requirements while using multiple displays. The easiest way is to push Ctrl + Alt together simultaneously then flip the screen by using a directional arrow. The arrows on the right and left turn the screen 90 degrees, and the down arrow turns it upside down. To return the screen to its normal location, use the up button. ClickSetting System Display, or press the desktop with the right button and pick Display settings to get there quicker if you are unable to get them to work these main commands work only with some machines. Choose from the Download View Orientation menu to rotate your page in either direction.

Drag to Pin Windows

This functionality has been available in Windows 7, however, there are a few more innovations and features in Windows 10. You can catch and drag any windows to the side to "fit" the half-screen, and you can also drag the window to either corner and make sure that it takes more than half a quarter of the frame. Drag into an angle and wait for a prompt signal to tell you if the window would open in that coin if you are using several screens. You can speed up similar actions by using the Windows key and any directional arrow keys.

Dark Mode and Light Mode

Windows 10 offers you considerable color control and is useful to those with visual difficulties or who don't feel comfortable operating on a very bright white screen, hence, Windows 10 offers you the option to switch to darker screens to ease your eyes and work for longer hours. Simply Open Open Settings Personalization Colors and set a dark mode or light mode to the operating system. These topics adjust the color of the starter menu and the taskbar, the actions core, the File Explorer and menu settings. There is also a customized option for setting a Windows menu topic and an app. If you want any more color, you can select color themes from which your menus and taskbars can really pop.

Take Measurements

Windows provides a range of built-in applications that may not appear useful, but have valuable hidden features. The Calculator application, for example, may calculate the difference between two dates and essentially convert a measurement unit, including time, energy, temperature, mass, and even currency. The Alarms & Clock app can also assess the time difference in the future between two places. To add positions, press the Clock button, and then click the + icon below. To open a schedule, click the Compare button. While showing the time lines, you can easily monitor time differences by adjusting time on the map points.

New Screenshot Tools

There are now innovative screenshot features in Windows 10. Indeed, you can select the section of the display that is sent to the preset by pressing the Windows-Shift-s key, and you can choose a rectangle, a freeform shape, or full display. This most recent Windows 10 update offers you the opportunity to take a picture that matches a window on your screen. In the lower right corner of the screen a screenshot can be displayed which opens the picture in the new app. Moreover, the new Snip & Sketch software can be used for identifying, sharing and even clipping a non-rectangular shape, and with a protractor, it is possible... to construct circle sections, and you can cut, and designate a regular square or widescreen crop. Moreover, simple image adjustment is provided in the screenshot editor to improve brightness and color or a text tool. Another particularly helpful feature is that screenshot links OneDrive that can be used to store images by tapping on PrintScreen for full-screen capture and Alt-PrintScreen for the centered window. This saves you the steps to save the picture file from the clipboard, such as Paint. This role is also required for a complete overview.

Video Editing in the Photos App

Tap the Create button and select Automatic Music video to automatically create a video with the option Remix. You can choose to create a music video using the Edit & Create button of a single image. This allows you to pick and match two or more images, crops, filter effects and background music and titles. The interface for video editing is based on a storyboard, which means that time line tracks are not used. You can drag and reorder the thumbnails and trim individual video clips throughout the series. One very cool extra, is that 3D effects can be added and even attached with motion tracking to an object in your video. You can use your own tracks or the included mood music. The transformations are timed to beats when you pick the former one.

Cortana Tricks

Cortana is one of Windows 10's highest-profile applications, and is Windows' digital AL assistant. Cortana has been substantially redesigned with the latest version as it operates in a chat-like conversational style, and on the phone, so you can change the window size. It also can make system changes as brightness decreases. Microsoft has declared for more than a year that Cortana is not a rival of Amazon Alexa, but a tool for efficiency. This latest update eliminates support for smart home system voice control and music streaming services. You can always ask for general weather and statistics, set records, check your calendar, and build to-do lists. It sets alerts and minutes, it opens applications, it modifies the setup, and can still make a joke.

Edge Web Browser Gets Sharper

Microsoft has updated the Edge web browser completely to boost website compatibility with Chromium rendering. The Microsoft Edge download page can be accessed by users. Eventually, all users are updated to the browser via Windows Update. It will continue to include exclusive functionality with powerful privacy features, homepage updates, an immersive reading view with lifelike text-to - speech voices and a sophisticated set for web-based search. By pressing the speaker icon that appears in any tabs that release sound, the browser will silence noisy tabs. You can also silence videos and music for self-playing. Edge can automatically fill in secure online payment forms, print needless clutter onto web pages and display full screen pdf files.

OneDrive and Skype

Windows 10 has two cloud services: one for online retailers and sync and one for Windows 10 for communications. There is a major difference between these and Apple's MacOS analog iCloud: they can be used on all platforms. The applications Skype and OneDrive are available for Mac, Linux, iOS and Windows. OneDrive Files On-Demand saves you from uploading all your PC files, but the OneDrive folder shows all, and only cloud files display a cloud-based icon in the File Explorer status column. While OneDrive does an excellent job of syncing Office documents and customization, Skype is an extremely rich communication tool.

You can finally share from Photos to OneDrive, but only if the OneDrive UWP application is installed. OneDrive also has a very useful Fetch capability: you can remotely open any folder from the OneDrive web interface if you enable it.
