No digital note taking is better than OneNote
OneNote is a digital version of a physical notebook created by Microsoft Corporation, and designed to collect and organize digital notes. Using this program, you can add images, diagrams, audio, videos and related materials to your records. OneNote enables users to create notebooks for various topics, each with multiple sections and different pages. In fact, OneNote will help you right-click certain stylus notes, text or add sketches and photos, store links, etc., as it enables you to type like any word processing program. When conducting operations, OneNote can include Word-like tools in the ribbon at the top of the screen: font collection, text design, bullets and counting, highlights, etc. In addition, OneNote grants you the ability to store and organize files, handwritten and typed notes, online study, receipts to hold, documents to read and edit, and material to monitor. The program also expands the ability of users to add or paste URLs from an Internet browser. Like a paper diary, a notebook is a collection of note articles. First, build a notebook, then generate a notebook from there and give you the opportunity to create a hierarchy that fits you. This gives you the ability to organize the data in a manner that suits your personal interests. OneNote lays out a hierarchy of three main stages: a notebook is the same as a physical notebook that can occupy several pages, part and section groups, and finally pages and subpages. There are five different versions of Microsoft OneNote: OneNote 2019, OneNote 2016, OneNote 2013, OneNote 2010 and the new version of OneNote 2007.

Let us better explore the features of OneNote
Record ideas and information
OneNote is optimized for use on any device and can be implemented on all major operating systems. Thus by synchronizing a laptop on a variety of computers, users would be able to view all notes and make new ones, whether in or out of the office. You can also add text, tables, images, and links to applications just like a word processing program. In addition, if you are using a touch-enabled interface, you can write or draw directly to your screen. OneNote can also scan your handwritten text and convert it to typed one.
Secure sensitive informationt
Notebook also takes adequate security steps to ensure that only certain programs that have access to information can do so just like any application that collects information. OneNote will secure the password of each component and protected information via the 3DES encryption standard. In addition, if OneNote remains inactive for a fixed period of time, it will actually trigger your password-protected sections to ensure they are private.
Sticky Notes can generate virtual stickers that you can paste anywhere on your tablet. You can also post short notes or to-do lists, paste links or phone numbers, and store any text snippets you need to call. Not only is the feature closely intertwined with the Windows OneNote framework, it also offers you the ability to synchronize notes with all users. Sticky notes are built-in software for Windows 10, however; if you cannot find it on your device, you can install it for free from the Microsoft Store to make new notes on all computers, arrange them, add points or even insert pictures from the screen.
Once you have developed a proper note system, you can start concentrating on materials and ideas. Similarly, when you create a prototype from scratch, it will not only provide a consistent look at the page, but it can flexibly build different types of documents and save time. You may use the OneNote model to organize notes in a particular manner during routine activities. If you take the time to attend staff meetings, members, debates and points will be processed in a fixed table format.
OneNote's approach of arrangement with a traditional notebook, section and page approach is very appropriate for organizing notes. You can be more descriptive, however using tags. Add visual markers to help differentiate between the type of information and the meaning of the various notebooks or sections. OneNote comes with a collection of default tags so that you can make as many custom tags as you like. This is commonly used in all of your businesses and is very relevant.
OneNote's ability to refer to other notes is one of its most advanced features. Its deep link structure means that you can easily engage in knowledge building, critical thinking and context learning. To create a link, highlight the text or paragraph, right-click and choose "Link to Page" or "Copy Link to Paragraph", switch to another page, and then insert a link via the link dialog. This will automatically convert it to an internal connection on the website.
As the contacts at work gradually speak multiple languages, the need to translate texts into different languages becomes more and more important. Microsoft extends you with powerful Office translation resources, which can decode materials in different languages and put them in your notes. Display a side panel at the top in your native language. In the bottom bar, select the suitable language from the drop-down menu. If you translate the complete article, OneNote will create a new translated version of the page.
OneNote includes a floating toolbar called "Mini Toolbar", useful when you select a piece of text and want to take some action.Although you can ignore this feature and perform actions through the "Ease of Access" toolbar, a few minutes of functionality are missing. You can modify the font, annotate text, markup information, etc. through the mini toolbar. To further extend the context menu toolbar, press the three-point button. You can edit comments faster using similar tools.
OneNote has a familiar three-panel style. On the far left is a collapsible menu with three options: notebook, browse and recent notes. When you click on the first option, a list of notebooks will be displayed, and any pages you have selected will surface on the right. When you select a specific tab, its content will be displayed in the main window. When you set up OneNote for the first time on a new PC, you might not see all the notebooks by default because the software only displays the most newly used notes. You must track it on OneDrive and put it back in the app, in order to open a notebook that you have not seen in a while. It does not take long to find and select them, but they can be loaded according to their size. It may make pressure and reduce the playing speed, depending on how many notes you have and how you need to arrange them. When you select a notebook, the rest of the window will reload to display the parts and pages in that notebook. All other notebooks are gone. You must exit and wait for it to reload to see them again. If you bounce between notebooks, you will find that this arrangement will also slow you down.Read more
The list of Microsoft OneNote features is impressive. People who use other Office applications are familiar with many functions. The menu bar is a good starting point, the OneNote ribbon menu bar matches the height of the menu bar in Word Online, and is loaded with options. You can add images, links, icons, tables and audio files that can be recorded instead of just uploading. You can resize, shrink and crop the photos shown in the notes. You can also submit a picture to the background and run text on top of it. However, even if you can add alternative text and detailed information, you cannot annotate photos in OneNote like in Evernote Premium. OneNote can help you edit hidden files, such as text documents. You can as well drag the text from the image and paste it directly into the note without any special processing, which is one of the best features of the app. As long as you have a good picture and start with normal printing, it will work well.Read more
Add videos clips
OneNote allows you to edit videos. To make matters worse, it is difficult for the clipper to perform earthly activities such as formatting bullet points and numbered lists and maintaining line breaks in poems. It is recommended that you use an appropriate laptop to save clips that Evernote can save.
If you are not familiar with Web Clippers, they are browser extensions that grant you to copy content from a web page to another application (OneNote in this case). They eliminate the need for cutting and pasting. OneNote only lets you edit the main content as needed, thereby removing advertisements and other irrelevant page features. Another feature grants you to clip the whole website, while the third feature allows you to draw a box around a section and save only the screenshot.
OneNote also has some other neat features, such as the usability checker. It flags possible usability issues with comments, such as poor contrast between the text and the context or the lack of images in the old text. Interestingly, most of the usability alerts we saw during testing were related to the default title font that OneNote added to the web crop page.
Search and Tags
The OneNote search tool has recently been enhanced. Generally, when you search for keywords or tags, OneNote only searches for notebooks that have been downloaded to the computer you are using. Now, even if your notes are not locally, you can scan all notes and let you know if a match is found. Then download the notebook and open the corresponding note. When it comes to tags, OneNote has a very special approach. When you start typing, the app will recognize all the tags you create and automatically check them so that no duplicate tags will be created.
Managing and Collaborating
How OneNote grants you to communicate and interact with others may and should affect the way you set up your OneNote account. You can indeed choose to share only one tab instead of sharing the whole notebook, but it includes sending a PDF to the recipient. However, if you want to work with others, this is not perfect for you. When sharing a diary, you will give others permission to edit notes (often called co-authoring). In this way, multiple users can edit a file at the same time, just like in Google Docs or Microsoft Word. The same freedom of sharing a complete notebook (not part of a notebook) expands to co-authoring. Even if you only want them to work on a single page, co-authors can see anything in the diary.
Tips and tricks to better organize your work
Paper style and color managing
By default, OneNote will offer you a blank white canvas for processing. However, if you go to the View menu, you can select between various types of documents. This would be more useful in a number of cases, whether it's inking graphics or just jot down routine notes on a lined notebook. You can switch between different page colors by displaying and then selecting "Page Color". You can also add lines or grids to different types of notebooks on the page, for example for measuring or recording actual notes. To do this, simply choose the rule line from the view bar.
Dark Mode using
Gazing at the white screen while taking notes using OneNote may dishearten you. Like other apps in Windows 10, OneNote supports dark mode. The dark mode will make many elements of the OneNote user interface easier to read and navigate. Your page will turn black, and the navigation bar will turn black. You can open it in Windows 10 by clicking the "Settings and more" menu in the upper right corner of the screen, and then selecting the "Settings" option and then "Options". There will be an option for dark mode, you can choose it.
Password setting to your sections
There is nothing more scary than someone who preys on your personal notes or your classified files. As with Word and PowerPoint files, you can secure the sections of OneNote to keep spies away. You can do this by right-clicking the name of the section on the sidebar, selecting "Password Protection" and then selecting "Add Password" You will need to enter your password twice for authentication.
Split up two sessions into two windows
Multitasking is a smart way to save busy time. You can also do this for applications such as PowerPoint and Word by operating two sessions of the same software side by side. However, you can also do this in OneNote. All you need to do is go to the "View" tab and press the "New Window" button in the upper left corner of this screen. This will open a new OneNote box, granting you to stack two editions of the application side by side and do more work. This feature is especially useful if you want to copy notes or view graphics but still want to take notes in OneNote.
Math problems solving
Thanks to OneNote, you are able to write math questions and even let the app answer and draw graphs for you. Of course, OneNote cannot replace a math teacher, but it can really help you by providing you with step-by-step instructions. All you need to do is to start writing the equation, either with pen or ink or typing it.
Word documents and PDFs inserting
If you try to use PDF files (such as textbooks) yourself, OneNote will help. After inserting the printout function, OneNote will insert the file as an image. You can't actually edit the printout, but you are able to draw it to the top and keep the original layout. You can as well move it to any position on the page.
OneNote is an unparalleled digital notebook application as it grants you the opportunity to save and organize handwritten and typed notes, online learning, records to keep, documents to read, and notes to monitor. By being able to access your notes from any location on any computer, you can guarantee that you capture the rapidly evolving ideas, find your notes without looking for a time or place, and decrypt your notes. Live by digitizing paper materials. With OneNote, you can do your best at home and at work. With OneNote you can perfectly take your notes and enjoy the experience to its fullest
