Microsoft's operating system, Windows XP Pro, was first distributed on October 25, 2001. In contrast to earlier Windows releases, Windows XP came with a number of brand-new features, including Internet Explorer 6, a fresh user interface and many others.
Having created a bootable USB/DVD disk, restart your PC and boot from the created installation media to start installing Windows XP Professional.
Press any key to launch the Windows XP Pro installation.
To install Windows XP, push the "Enter" keyboard key.
PS: You can use the Recovery Console to repair your Windows XP installation by pressing the "R" key on your keyboard.
Click the "F8" keyboard shortcut to accept the License Agreement (EULA).
You can choose the partition on which you want to install Windows XP Pro by using the UP and DOWN ARROW keyboard keys. Next, press "Enter" to indicate that you want to continue with the installation.
The installation of Windows XP Pro will start shotly. Please be patient while the installation is being completed.
PS: During the installation, your computer could restart a few times.
Choose your language, time zone, and date, then select Next to go on. Click again on Next after entering your name and organization (optional field).
After entering your product key, click “Next” to activate Windows XP Pro.
PS: The product key is 25 characters long.
Choose Typical settings and then select Next:
Click "Finish" to complete installing Windows XP Pro once you have completed configuring your operating system. Congratulations, you can now start using Windows XP Pro.
